Who we are
​
Founded in Detroit, Michigan by Carlos Recabarren, a logistics professional very experienced in global logistics and supply chain management. Throughout his career, he has built and managed an international portfolio spanning three continents and a multitude of industries. With a strong focus in both operational and commercial aspects. Throughout his career with the C. Steinweg Group and Henry Bath, he has worked closely with clients in negotiating complex timelines and coordinating third parties globally.

JOTS Logistics LLC (Johnny On The Spot), the name is meant to indicate that we are wherever we are needed at the time our customers need us to support them. JOTS Logistics engages in 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) / Freight brokerage, meaning a company that can perform the management function of the clients' logistics needs to the client's customers. As an International Agent of the Landstar network, we can provide any logistics service that our customers may require. We are able to cover every area with any mode of transportation. Being a part of the Landstar network allows us to take advantage of the economies of scale that a big logistics provider has access to, but at the same time provide a tailored service to any size of customers.
